Luke was born and brought up in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

After leaving school in 1996, he left his hometown to join the British Army. He passed his basic training and completed his training as a Vehicle Mechanic, working on a variety of Military vehicles ranging from generators to the British Army’s Main Battle Tank.

After a few years, Luke decided to change his career to work on the finance side of the Army, gaining over 20 years’ experience. During this time Luke completed extensive courses to equip him to run the Unit Financial Accounts; This role included maintaining multiple Regimental accounts, ensuring compliance with UK financial legislation and regulations. He was also responsible for payroll, allowances and expenses of Military personnel.

He went on to complete a total of 26 years Military Service. Operating in the UK, as well as overseas in Germany, Canada, USA, Poland. He has deployed on Operations to Bosnia, Iraq and Estonia.

Whilst in the UK, overseas or on Operations, he has maintained the high level of attention to detail and standards that is required whilst working in the Finance sector.

He was awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct medal for his long career and Exemplary Service.

Outside of his work, Luke enjoys his motorbikes and keeping himself fit by cycling and a bit of running. He is also a devoted family man.
